Ewart Woods
Wood and metal. Made the proper way.
Ewart Woods was founded in Latvia in 2014 by woodworking enthusiast Maksims Jekimovs — a country where forests cover 41% of the land and a deep relationship with wood has been refined over centuries. Starting with handcrafted USB drives and their companion boxes, the studio grew into a full range of wooden and metal homeware that treats every piece as a design problem worth solving properly. Floating wall shelves with hidden brackets, bathroom accessories that actually organise a space, kitchen organisers with a considered aesthetic — all made by hand in small batches. Latvian craft. Modern design.
Working alongside metal designer Pēteris Ločmelis, Ewart Woods combines traditional woodworking with contemporary metalwork — pieces that sit at the intersection of furniture and functional art. Oak, walnut, reclaimed wood and hand-forged metal throughout. Nothing mass-produced. Nothing that looks like it came from the same factory as everything else. The kind of shelf people ask about.
Ewart Woods pieces consistently earn the question — where did you get that? Beautifully made, thoughtfully designed, and the kind of thing that improves a room immediately. Find more ideas in our gifts collection or read about our independent home brands in the journal.
