Keep It And Use It Again. That Was The Whole Idea.
Abigail Forsyth was a solicitor who left the law to run sandwich shops in Melbourne with her brother Jamie, and spent twelve years watching disposable cups go into landfill by the crate. They tried refilling juice bottles and selling reusable salad boxes, but the cups were the real problem, and nothing on the market came close to replacing them. So in 2009 they designed one themselves, sold a thousand on the first day, and effectively invented a product category that did not previously exist.
The design is the thing everybody else has since copied and nobody has improved on: barista standard, so it fits under the group head and holds a proper measure rather than approximating one. The range covers glass and cork for the aesthetes, the lighter everyday versions, and brew editions for people who care which way round the lid goes. They are bright, they are recognisable at forty paces, and they have kept billions of disposable cups out of the ground. The company is a certified B Corporation and was among the founding members of B Corp Australia in 2014.
