Every vessel is individually laser engraved with botanical detail chosen to reflect what is inside it, which means the jar is worth keeping once the wax has gone. Most candles leave you with an empty glass and a mild sense of waste. These leave you with an object.

Small batches, eco soy wax, vegan throughout, and fragrance blends that go a good deal further than vanilla: citrus and oud, blackcurrant and truffle, lavender and tonka, ylang ylang. Some of them are considerably odder than they sound and better for it.

They tell you how long it burns.

Forty to forty-five hours for the 30cl, over twenty for the 9cl. A remarkable number of candle companies will not put a figure on this, which is usually a sign that the figure would not help them.
