Zelma Pīgozne works in Latvia from leather that factories have given up on: the last remaining hide of a colour, left on a shelf after the order it was bought for finished without it. One piece yields roughly two to four bags plus a handful of smaller things, which means most colours here exist in numbers you could count on one hand. The house shape is the Classic Cut Saddle Bag, borrowed from the bags that used to hang off horse carriages, clasp and clean line intact, horse now optional.
