Every shade is made by hand, to order, from fabric sourced within the UK. The range is broad enough to cover most rooms and specific enough to cover most tastes, which is a harder balance than it sounds. Cone, cylinder, drum, coolie, empire and double-sided. Plain cottons, linens and velvets, patterned fabrics, and paper interiors that make the inside of a shade as considered as the outside. Extra tall cylinders for floor lamps, large statement pendants, and bespoke orders using your own fabric if nothing in the range quite does it. The double-sided ones, which are the point
Velvet outside, contrasting cotton or patterned paper within, so the shade lit has a character the shade unlit only hints at. It is the sort of detail nobody specifies and everybody notices. The studio also makes cushions in the same fabrics, should you want the room to agree with itself.
