Divine Warrior is a spiritual shop from Formby in Merseyside, run by people who practise what they sell: the crystal work, tarot and candle rituals they grew up with and are, by their own cheerful admission, still learning. The name, they explain, has nothing to do with battle and everything to do with courage, the kind it takes to look inward and trust your instincts, which strikes us as a far better use of a warrior than most.
The range runs from tarot and oracle decks, reading cloths and rune stones to crystal spheres and quartz clusters, Tibetan singing bowls, incense and altar dishes, plus a great many candles: botanical soy candles, crystal-topped candles and boxes of slim spell candles in every colour you could wish for. A curious beginner and a seasoned reader will both find something here, and buying a present for the friend who reads everyone's cards at parties becomes a great deal easier.
