Dotty Dungarees was founded by two mothers who wanted the dungarees they remembered from their own childhoods, and who then declined to make anything else. Dungarees, dungaree dresses, shorts and the tops that go under them, from six months to ten years. Adjustable straps and generous turn-ups so a pair lasts the year, a hidden zip on everything up to 24 months for nappy changes, and full-length pairs lined in combed cotton jersey so there are no seams against small legs. The Details They Bothered With
Zips rather than poppers between the legs. Buttons and buckles made to order rather than bought in. A replacement service for the buckles, on the correct assumption that buckles are the part that goes first. Cotton comes from Nantong, the main collection is made at a family-run factory in Beijing, the tops are made in Tirupur, and the cotton is Better Cotton Initiative throughout.
