What Happens to the Bottles After the Party.

Mosa began in Vancouver with a few empty bottles after a student party and the rather sensible thought that they deserved better than the bin. Today those bottles are cut, sanded and polished by hand into drinking glasses, platters and jars, or turned into vessels for hand-poured soy candles. Our own post-party tidying has never got further than a bin bag and a lie-down.

No Two Quite the Same.

Every piece is finished by hand, so each one comes out a little different, which Mosa treats as the whole point rather than a flaw. More than 30,000 bottles have been given a second life so far. It puts our recycling box to shame, frankly.
