Paws Right There
Spa Day, But For The Dog
Founded by a woman in Cheshire with strong views on paw balm
Paws Right There makes grooming products for dogs, which is a category that until fairly recently consisted of one shampoo smelling faintly of disinfectant. Theirs are made in the UK, vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated on the reasonable premise that a dog is a member of the household rather than a piece of garden equipment.
Balms, shampoos and the bits people forget
Paw balm for pads that have met a gritted pavement. Nose balm, which nobody thinks about until a summer walk. Shampoos and cleansing bars, brushes, and a set of scents with names that suggest somebody enjoyed themselves: Goodbye Wet Dog is the obvious one and, on the evidence of the reviews, the accurate one.
Theo Paphitis was persuaded
They are Small Business Sunday winners and part of the SBS community, and the products have turned up on ITV's Lorraine and in Vogue and Vanity Fair, which is a considerable amount of attention for a paw balm.
Packaged with the plastic taken out
Many of the products arrive in zero plastic packaging and the rest in as little as they can manage, which in a category built almost entirely on squeezy bottles is worth mentioning.
