Woven London

Cloth Before Clothes.

Woven London builds outward from the fabric rather than the silhouette. Everything is cut from handloom cloth in natural fibres, woven in India by artisan weavers, and the shapes are kept deliberately calm so the cloth does the talking. Selvedge stripes, ikat, jamdani, dip dye. The Nina and Lina blouses, the Lara and Alma skirts. Find them in Women's Fashion.

Quietly Good At One Thing

The range stays small and the repeats are deliberate. Blouses and skirts, mostly, in a rotating set of weaves, with a bespoke service for anyone who wants something cut to them and textile journeys for anyone who would rather see the looms than read about them. Browse alongside our Women-Led Brands and Small Batch Artisans edits.

Visit The Shop

Woven keeps a shop and studio on the Caledonian Road in Islington, open Fridays and Saturdays from noon until four, and by appointment the rest of the week. It shuts for the whole of August, which tells you a good deal about the pace of the place. Find it at E01, 400 Caledonian Road, London N1 1DN. More like it in our UK Shops collection and across our British Brands, with further reading in the Journal.

If you're making something rather good, we'd love to hear about it.

We're selective. In the nicest possible way.
