Casa by Josephine Jenno was founded in London in 2022 by an Australian with a long-standing habit of looking at other people's antiques. The result is handcrafted rattan, hand-painted Vietri tableware, sculptural vases, candleholders and the sort of curiosities that give a room something to say for itself.
The rattan is split, framed, woven, sanded and checked entirely by hand, passing through several pairs before it is finished. The Kitchen Garden Collection draws on the English tradition in which useful things were also expected to be handsome, an arrangement that worked perfectly well for centuries before anyone thought to separate the two.
