Designed in Blackpool, Home of Candy Floss and Rock.

Floss & Rock was started in 2016 by a husband and wife in Blackpool, and named after the two things the town is best known for putting in paper bags. Everything is drawn in-house, which is why their puzzles and play sets look like somebody enjoyed making them rather than like the output of a licensing department.

No batteries, no screens, no noise.

The range deliberately avoids tech: jigsaws, magnetic play sets, water-reveal colouring cards, secret diaries, colour-changing umbrellas that only show their pattern in the rain. It is the sort of thing that occupies a child in a restaurant without occupying everyone else in the restaurant as well.

For ages two to ten, roughly.

Which in practice means the illustrations are good enough that a parent will do the jigsaw after the child has lost interest and wandered off, and will deny having done so if asked directly.
