As Seen in The New York Times
Colu Henry, New York Times food columnist and author of Back Pocket Pasta, discovered Laughing Cherries around 2011 and described the moment she first tried on one of their cotton drawstring waist kaftans: “I put it on, and I felt elegant. What began as a simple discovery became a lasting affection. I can’t tell you how many I’ve bought of those in different prints."
Founded by Women, Rooted in Craft
Laughing Cherries is a small, self sustaining business co owned by Shikha in India and Jessica Richmond in America. The brand began with Shikha’s original Etsy store and has grown through a collaborative partnership that blends Eastern heritage with a Western perspective. Together, they have refined and evolved the collection for a modern bridal and special events audience while remaining authentic to its cultural roots.
