Lochs + Fens
Stags From Argyll, Hares From Lincolnshire.
Lochs & Fens is a mother and daughter who split their lives between the west coast of Scotland and the wide, flat skies of Lincolnshire, and have turned the difference between the two into a business. Argyll supplies the stags on heather and the crabs and starfish on the shore. Lincolnshire supplies the pheasants, the partridges, the hares, and a great many flowers, on the grounds that the soil is so good there it would be rude not to paint them.

Every design starts as one of the daughter's own paintings, which then turns up on tea towels, napkins, oven gloves and range-top pads, and on greetings cards thick enough that people tend to frame them rather than post them. The tea towels are the sort so nice that they get demoted to "best" and saved for guests, which rather defeats the point of a tea towel, though nobody seems to mind.
There are candles and soap too, for anyone who would like the whole house to smell faintly of the countryside while looking as though it lives there.
