How to Get the Best from Your Candle
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry room away from direct sunlight, dust and heat sources. Think of it as a rather fussy houseguest with very reasonable demands.
Burning: Always place on a stable, heat resistant surface or proper candle holder. Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting. Burn for no more than two hours at a time, then let it cool before relighting. Never leave burning candles unattended, and do keep them well away from anything flammable or sleeping children.
Longevity: Short, thoughtful burns mean your candle lasts longer. Rather like a good relationship, really.
A Note on Nature: Due to soy wax's softer nature, these candles are not compatible with spike holders. Sculptural shapes also mean heat distribution is uneven, creating distinctive burn patterns. This is completely normal and rather adds to the charm of owning something handmade.
