Honey Bee Good

The Cling Film Alternative, Made by Hand.

Honey Bee Good is a husband-and-wife team making beeswax food wraps in a small studio in East London, a business they started in 2020 when lockdown left them with a sewing machine and rather too much time. One of them measures and cuts the cotton, the other mixes the wax and paints it on by hand, and every wrap is then hung up to dry, folded and labelled with no machinery involved at any stage.

The wraps fold around bread, cheese and sandwiches and hold their shape once pressed into place, and come in patterns bright enough to make leftovers look deliberate. There are sets in three sizes, plus XXL wraps and bread bags for anyone whose sourdough habit has got slightly out of hand.
