Baltic Beauty
Forty Million Years In The Making.
Amber is not a stone.
It is fossilised resin from pine forests that stood around the Baltic Sea before anything recognisable walked on land, hardened over tens of millions of years and washed onto the shore by winter storms. People have been picking it up and wearing it since the Stone Age, which makes it arguably the oldest jewellery material in continuous use.
Certified by the people who decide.
Baltic Beauty are a registered Recommended Seller of the International Amber Association, the body that sets the standard for genuine Baltic amber, and every piece arrives with a certificate of authenticity. This matters more than it sounds: the trade in imitation amber is considerable, and most buyers have no way of telling.
Three colours, all natural.
Classic honey, green and cherry, set in 925 sterling silver. The variation is in the material rather than the treatment, which is why no two pieces are quite alike and why the light does something different to each one.
Rings, brooches, cufflinks, and a bee.
Minimal everyday studs and stacking rings through to statement pendants, one-of-a-kind pieces and a small collection of brooches including a rather good bee. There is a proper range for men too, which almost nobody in this category bothers with.
