Chandlers started because Emma went looking for wax melts that actually filled a room and did not cost a fortune, failed to find any, and decided to make her own. It began at the back of a DIY shop in Liverpool and has grown into hundreds of regulars, several thousand reviews, and a subscription box people are noticeably possessive about.
Everything hand-poured in small batches
Soy blend, vegan ingredients, recyclable RPET packaging, poured by one person in Liverpool rather than shipped in from a factory somewhere. Snapbars, reed diffusers, room sprays, carpet freshener and scented hoover discs, which are exactly what they sound like and rather more satisfying than they have any right to be.
Scents with proper names
Morning Meadow, Arabian Sunset, Pink Cactus, Spring Awakening, Kyoto Blooms, and one called Jamaican Me Crazy that we have decided to let stand. Nothing subtle, which is the point. If you have been disappointed by a wax melt that smelled lovely for eleven minutes, this is the corrective.
