Smug
Most Sleep Masks Do Not Block Light.
Which is the one thing they are for.
Keli started SMUG having worked through a succession of flat, flimsy masks that let light in at the nose and flattened her lashes against her face. So she designed a contoured one that sits away from the eyes and actually blocks out light, which sounds like a low bar and turns out to be one most of the category fails to clear.
Contoured, and it matters.
A flat mask presses on the eyelids. A contoured one has space in it, which means you can open your eyes underneath it, your lashes are left alone, and it stays put when you turn over. Elasticated strap, one size, and small enough to live permanently in a bag.
And the rest of the kit.
Satin masks in a considerable range of colours and prints, sleep turbans, travel bottles and wash bags. The sort of things bought before a long flight and then used at home for years.
