Fabulous Planning

Stationery That Is Not Stationary

Started at twenty-two, in a converted chapel

Jack Bowers set up Fabulous Planning in 2020 from an old chapel in Thornton-le-Dale, on the edge of the North York Moors, which is a rather more picturesque origin than most planner companies manage. He designs everything; UK printers produce it. He is entirely straightforward about that arrangement, which is more than most.

For people who have opinions about pens

Planners, journals, wall planners, refill pads, folios, washi tape and pastel pens, in colours that make no apology whatsoever. The Life Journal comes in four flavours: budget, sleep, gratitude, and health and wellness. There is also an A1 academic wall planner that is reversible, so you can have the colourful side or the sober one depending on who is likely to see it.

Pedro the Pencil

There are crocheted desk companions, made in collaboration with another small maker, called Pedro the Pencil, Nelly the Notebook, Edward the Envelope and Ronald the Rubber. Nobody needs these. That has never once been the point of stationery.
