When I Was Little.

That is what the name means, and it explains the whole thing. Two childhood friends in Lithuania became mothers at roughly the same time, looked at what was available for babies, and started making it themselves instead. The result is handmade keepsakes and soft things, built on the assumption that a child's first belongings ought to be worth keeping.

Memory boxes, growth charts and rather large animals.

The wooden memory boxes are for hospital name tags, first socks, first teeth and the other small evidence parents cannot bring themselves to throw away. Alongside them sit wooden growth charts, blankets, pillows and plush toys on an ambitious scale, including a hornless, wingless pegasus roughly the height of a toddler.

Made to be handed down.

Everything is made by hand, and the stated ambition is that pieces pass from one generation to the next, which is a rather higher bar than surviving until the child loses interest.
