Wild Rising Skincare

A kitchen-table frustration that got rather out of hand, in the best possible way.

It began, as a surprising amount of good skincare seems to, with someone who could not find what she wanted on the shelves and decided, with more confidence than most of us could muster, to make it herself at home. The name arrived with a manifesto attached, Wild for the untamed side of nature and Rising for everything that follows, and we are assured it is not just a name. Having once tried to name a business ourselves, we believe every word.

Everything is still made by hand in small batches in Torquay. The face oils are the place to start, Moonlight with blueberry and blue tansy, Radiance with rosehip and chia, and Super Seed with hemp, followed by clay masks in hibiscus and rose hip or activated charcoal, a powder cleanser that foams up once water is added, and two body polishes, Anchor with peppermint and Zephyr with blood orange. The names alone make it a very slow shop, which we mean entirely as a compliment.

For more for the face, have a browse of our beauty and health and wellness collections, or carry on to the bathroom, gift sets and gifts for her. There are more businesses like this one in women-led brands, and more close to home in our British-made collection.
