This plate is inspired by a traditional Chinese design JJ first saw in the Colonial Williamsburg Museum Collection. Back when it was imported, these plates were considered “china of the most fashionable sort”, and were well sought after. This archival revival of the design refreshes the deep cobalt blue of traditional china for a brilliant periwinkle blue, giving the plate a gentle, delicate, lacy look. The most useful modern innovation though – it’s microwave and dishwasher safe!
