The physical object still matters
A notebook nobody wants to open is a notebook that stays shut. A card that arrives in the post is remembered considerably longer than the message that arrived at 11.42pm and was read on a phone in a dark room. This collection is for the people who already knew that.
Letterpress, hand-bound and printed by somebody
Greeting cards, journals, notebooks, illustrated wrapping and desk accessories. A good number of these are made by the person who drew them, on paper chosen deliberately, which is a set of decisions almost nobody notices and everybody feels.
Paper weight is not a detail
It is most of the thing. A card at 300gsm stands up on a mantelpiece; the same design at 200 flops over by Tuesday. The makers here have all had this argument with themselves and reached the right conclusion.
