Laughing Cherries is co-owned by two women on opposite sides of the world: Shikha, based in Mumbai, and Jessica, based in America — brought together by a shared love of beautiful handmade things and a series of conversations that grew into a business partnership. Shikha's deep roots in Indian craft and textile traditions meet Jessica's American sensibility, resulting in a style the brand calls Vintage Bohemian Chic — and even that description, they'll tell you, is still evolving.
The collection specialises in wedding and special event accessories: caftans, maternity dresses and robes, boudoir collections, bridesmaid gifts, and the rather lovely mummy-and-baby matching kaftan sets made from fine 100% mulmul cotton — handmade to order, softening beautifully with every wash. Every piece is a handmade creation that marks a moment worth celebrating.
