Eco-Friendly Sarah Raincoat - Recycled Ocean Plastic
From The Painter's Wife, we welcome this waterproof dog raincoat, which is inspired by fishermen raincoats of the Spanish Atlantic coast.
It is made of a nice waterproof fabric that protects your dog from rain and dries very quickly. It is designed to protect the front legs and trunk of the dogs, allowing freedom of movement and keeping their body dry. It is ideal for rainy days.
It is made using recycled polyester, obtained through the recycling and purification process of plastic waste collected from oceans, fishing nets, and textile fibre waste. This technical fabric protects your dog from rain and dries very quickly.
The dog raincoat doesn’t have a special opening for the harness, we advise putting it on top of the coat to fully protect your dog's fur from the rain.
However, for a collar there is no problem at all as the neck is large.

DOG COAT SIZE GUIDE
For the correct size please measure your dog from the base of their neck to the base of their tail and around the widest part of their tummy, this is usually behind the back legs.
We'd always suggest sizing up if your dog is in-between sizes:

What is it made from?
A quick-drying waterproof fabric — 87% PVC with 13% recycled polyester obtained from ocean plastic, fishing nets and textile fibre waste.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, and around the widest part of the tummy. Sizes run from 25cm/10" to 55cm/22". If your dog is between sizes, we'd always suggest sizing up.
Can I use it with a harness?
There's no special harness opening, so we'd suggest popping the raincoat on over the harness to keep your dog fully dry. A collar is no problem, as the neck is generously cut.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash at 30°C maximum, don't use bleach and don't tumble dry — it dries quickly on its own.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days, with free UK delivery on all orders over £30.
There is no warehouse. That is rather the point, and it does have consequences.
Every brand here packs and posts its own orders, in its own boxes, with tracked delivery. The brands you can see are the ones that ship to your country, so your parcel is usually making a fairly short journey: a potter in Bristol posting to Britain, a studio in California posting within America.
Which does mean that an order from three brands arrives as three parcels, posted by three different people, on three different days. Whether that is an inconvenience or a small extended birthday rather depends on your temperament. It also means three lots of postage, shown before you pay, because we would rather mention it here than at the till.

UK Domestic: 2–5 business days
Coming from further afield: 7–14 days. Usually quicker, but let's not prmise and it will be a lovely surprise!

Fourteen days from delivery to tell us you have changed your mind, and fourteen more to get it back to us. No reason required, and we will not make you give one.
You are allowed to open it and try it on. Handle it as you would in a shop, and we will not quibble. Handle it as you would a rental car and we may deduct something for the difference.
Return postage is yours to pay, because the brand at the other end is a workshop rather than a warehouse. Some cover it themselves, and if yours does you will not be charged. Whatever you paid us to send it out, we refund either way, and the money goes back the way it came within fourteen days of the parcel reaching the brand.
A few things cannot come back, and only these: anything made or personalised to your order, sealed beauty products once the seal is broken, and anything perishable.
If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, none of the above applies. It costs you nothing, and we sort it.
