What's the difference between Zen Spray and Sleepy Head?
Both create calming rituals, can be used anytime of day, not just for sleep. Sleepy Head is a lighter scent - lavender and frankincense — soft and grounding. Zen can be used for sleep and also daytime calm — meditation, yoga, focus moments, or whenever you need a sensory reset and has a zest and woody scent of mandarin, cardamom and vetiver.
How and when do I use it?
Spritz on your pillow, around your space, on a yoga mat, or as a light room mist. Use it before meditation or breathwork, during journaling, before a focused work session, or any time you want to mark a moment of calm. A few spritzes is all you need.
What does it smell like?
A complex blend of mandarin, bergamot, cardamom, vetivert and sandalwood — bright citrus top notes that lift the air, settling into a warm spiced heart and a deep, grounded base. Sophisticated rather than sweet, calming without being sleepy. Lighter and brighter than Sleepy Head.
Will it stain my fabrics or yoga mat?
No — Zen Spray is alcohol-free and uses pure essential oils with a water-based carrier. Safe to use on cotton, linen, and most natural fibres. We still recommend a patch test if you're spraying onto delicate silks or unusual materials.
Can I use it during pregnancy or with children?
The essential oils in Zen Spray are mandarin, bergamot, cardamom, vetivert and sandalwood. During pregnancy, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before introducing any aromatherapy product, particularly in the first trimester. For older children, Zen Spray can be used in well-ventilated spaces, but for babies under 2 we recommend consulting your healthcare provider first.
How long does the scent linger?
The scent lifts the air for several minutes after spraying, then settles gently. It's designed as a sensory cue for a moment, not a long-lasting room fragrance. One bottle typically lasts 2-3 months with regular use.
What makes this different from other calming sprays?
Most calming sprays on the market are alcohol-based with synthetic fragrance — which means a sharper scent and chemical undertones. Zen Spray uses spring water and floral waters as the base, with real essential oils for scent. No synthetic fragrance, no alcohol, no parabens. It's why it smells gentler and feels more genuine.
There is no warehouse. That is rather the point, and it does have consequences.
Every brand here packs and posts its own orders, in its own boxes, with tracked delivery. The brands you can see are the ones that ship to your country, so your parcel is usually making a fairly short journey: a potter in Bristol posting to Britain, a studio in California posting within America.
Which does mean that an order from three brands arrives as three parcels, posted by three different people, on three different days. Whether that is an inconvenience or a small extended birthday rather depends on your temperament. It also means three lots of postage, shown before you pay, because we would rather mention it here than at the till.

Fourteen days from delivery to tell us you have changed your mind, and fourteen more to get it back to us. No reason required, and we will not make you give one.
You are allowed to open it and try it on. Handle it as you would in a shop, and we will not quibble. Handle it as you would a rental car and we may deduct something for the difference.
Return postage is yours to pay, because the brand at the other end is a workshop rather than a warehouse. Some cover it themselves, and if yours does you will not be charged. Whatever you paid us to send it out, we refund either way, and the money goes back the way it came within fourteen days of the parcel reaching the brand.
A few things cannot come back, and only these: anything made or personalised to your order, sealed beauty products once the seal is broken, and anything perishable.
If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, none of the above applies. It costs you nothing, and we sort it.
