Little Scandi Baby

A bib that refuses to look like a bib.

Sue was born in Denmark and brought the Scandinavian instinct for design with her: clean, considered, built to last, and quietly unimpressed by anything that is not. She started Little Scandi Baby during the pandemic, which is when a good many people looked properly at children's clothing for the first time and found it wanting.

What it is made of.

Materials are organic and OEKO-TEX certified, which means the finished goods have been tested against limits for harmful substances rather than simply described as safe. Plastic-free where plastic can be avoided, which is the careful formulation rather than the flat one, and the more honest of the two. Where a brand holds a certification we name it on its own page, with the certifying body attached.

The piece that started it.

The waterproof dribble bib: a soft curved shape, thoroughly practical, and managing not to look like something issued by a hospital. Around it sits a growing range of clothing and essentials for babies and toddlers, made to the same standard rather than to a season, on the reasonable principle that parents like knowing what is against their baby's skin.
