Made Here With Love started in 2022 in Stourport-on-Severn, and is still one person at a bench in Worcestershire. Everything is made to order rather than pulled off a shelf, sizing is adjusted at no extra cost, and if you write to ask about it, the person who replies is the person who will make it.
The donation is on sales, not profits
Ten percent of every sale goes to YoungMinds, the charity supporting young people's mental health. Sales rather than profits is a meaningful distinction and worth pausing on: profit is a figure that moves depending on how the year is going, and sales is not. It means the donation happens whether the business has had a good month or a difficult one.
Gemstones, birthstones and things that mark something
Bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings in gemstones and charms, much of it built around birthstones and anniversaries and the birthdays that get a number attached to them. Bought, mostly, for somebody else, and usually for a reason.
And a tree per order
Every order also plants a tree through Carma, which is a small thing done consistently rather than a large thing announced once.
