Mischief Candles are hand-poured in a workshop in Manchester, made to order in the scent of your choosing, and dressed in a pink tin with a bold red message on the front. The messages are the whole point. There is a Cancelled Plans Club for the friend who has quietly perfected the art of staying in, a Dopamine Seekers Club for anyone in need of a small lift, and one for new homeowners that simply reads A House in This Economy, which we found almost unbearably accurate.
The wax is soy and the scents run from Secret Beach Club, all coconut, pineapple and peach, to the warm amber and vanilla of Pink Blossom. Each candle arrives wrapped in tissue inside a printed box, which saves you the bother of wrapping it and very nearly the bother of writing a card.
