Rustic Warehouse Norfolk is a family business that finds old furniture and brings it back, which is a different trade from making new furniture and a harder one to fake. Reclaimed wood, weathered metal, and pieces that already had a life before anyone tried to sell them again.
Restored, not manufactured.
The distinction matters. An Ercol drop-leaf table is not crafted in Norfolk; it was crafted somewhere else decades ago and has been stripped, repaired and finished in Norfolk since. What the workshop supplies is the judgement about which marks to keep and which to take out, and that is the whole skill.
What turns up.
A vintage Ercol Model 506 in light elm. A school lab bench with an iroko top, now a kitchen island. An extending Old Charm oak refectory table. A cast iron table base from Henry Bamford and Sons. Occasionally a hand-knotted wool rug the size of a small room, and a rail of vintage upcycled and resold clothing that has nothing to do with the furniture and is worth a look anyway.
