Changing Up Changing Time
Stephanie Revill started Modern Cloth Nappies in 2019 from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, having worked out that most reusable nappies were designed by people who had never had to fit one at four in the morning. Hers are all-in-one, which means no assembly, no folding, and no separate anything to lose.
One nappy, birth to potty
The all-in-one adjusts as the baby grows rather than being replaced in stages, with a double leg gusset, a stay-dry lining and a pull-out absorbent pad that dries considerably faster than the alternative. The Pearl Pocket, for newborns from about five pounds, took Gold at the MadeforMums Awards in 2021 and again in 2023.
The washing question, which everybody asks
It is the first thing anyone says, and fairly. Government lifecycle work has looked at exactly this, and the answer depends a good deal on how you wash and dry them. Stephanie is entirely happy to talk you through it, which several of her customers mention having taken her up on at some length before buying anything.
