Deux par Deux was founded in Montreal in 1986 by Claude Diwan and her husband Maurice Elmaleh — a creative partnership that took the children's fashion world by storm from its very first collection. What started as an import business bringing smocked dresses from Paris to Quebec grew into one of Canada's most beloved and internationally recognised children's clothing brands, winner of twelve Griffes d'Or awards and a longstanding collaborator with artists including Keith Haring.
The range covers babies through to age 16 across four collections a year — spring/summer, autumn/winter, snowsuits and holiday. The snowsuit collection is particularly exceptional: technical, beautifully designed, and built for the demanding Canadian climate rather than designed around it as an afterthought. Beyond outerwear the brand delivers dresses, trousers, swimwear, base layers and everyday essentials in the vivid colours and original prints that define the Deux par Deux aesthetic — adult-inspired cuts brought to life with the joy and freedom that only children's fashion properly allows.
