Quite Nice London
For people who cook from memory and would like the recipe somewhere they can see it.
Quite Nice began in London during the 2020 lockdown, when a recent art school graduate combined her two favourite things, cooking and drawing, and started putting recipes on T-shirts. It turned out a great many people wanted to wear a carbonara, and the brand has grown from there, with every design still drawn by hand and everything made in the UK. The name, it must be said, is a very British understatement.
The T-shirts are the heart of it: illustrated recipes for carbonara, tiramisu, a spicy margarita and plenty more, for her and him alike. The same drawings turn up on tea towels and placemats for the kitchen, prints for the wall, and tote bags for the trip to the market. We cannot promise the recipes will make you a better cook, but you will certainly look like one.
For more for the cook, have a browse of our food hall and dining + tableware collections, or carry on to gifts for her for the rest of the Christmas list. There are more businesses like this one in our Women-Led collection, and more from closer to home in our British Brands collection.
