Skull Crusher Coffee
Coffee of Quite Staggering Strength, Roasted in Manchester. Approach as You Would a Large Dog: With Respect.
Skull Crusher Coffee is refreshingly upfront about its intentions: the packaging carries an actual warning, and it is not being coy. Roasted fresh in Manchester, each cup delivers 350mg of caffeine from a 20g serving, roughly three times an average black coffee, wrapped in a dark, full-bodied roast that is considerably smoother than the branding suggests. This is coffee for shift workers, students in the final furlong, gym-goers and anyone whose to-do list has developed a menacing quality. It is, we should say plainly, one for adults, and one cup at a time.
Strong, but with a conscience
The beans are Rainforest Alliance certified, ethically sourced and sustainably grown, which means the only thing getting crushed is your morning. It arrives however you take it: 500g bags of ground for the cafetière, whole beans for the grinder-proud, and Nespresso-compatible pods for those who need the strength but not the ceremony. Starter kits bundle in a dripper and a mug for the properly committed.
Beyond the original
The Original dark roast is the flagship, but the range has grown a personality of its own: French Vanilla and Chocolate Hazelnut for flavour with the firepower, a Nootropic blend infused with mushroom extracts for tunnel-vision focus without a funky taste, an Infused edition designed to skip the jitters, and a limited barrel-aged release for the collector. All of it dark, rich and entirely unapologetic.
