Somewhere to Put the Child.

Avdar is the Mongolian word for the wooden box a family keeps its treasures in, which is quite a lot of poetry to be carrying about when your actual job is stopping a three-year-old from climbing the bookcase. The company was started in 2017 by two parents who couldn't find toys they liked, and their own children, now nine and five, still test everything first. One assumes destructively.

There are beechwood climbing frames, ladders and triangles, which is to say somewhere legitimate for all that to go, along with balance toys, puzzle blocks and small wooden furniture. Everything is solid wood, painted in colours chosen by someone who has clearly sat in a living room slowly turning into a soft play centre and decided against it.
