Bobbin and Bumble started in Bradford with a straightforward observation: the highchair most British families own is perfectly good and slightly unfinished. So they made the bits it was missing. Adjustable bamboo footrests that fit the IKEA Antilop, cushion covers, silicone placemats, splash mats for the floor beneath, and vinyl leg wraps for the highchair itself.

Why a footrest changes things

A baby with nowhere to put their feet fidgets. A footrest brings the knees to roughly ninety degrees, which makes sitting comfortable and eating rather more likely to happen. Theirs adjusts as the child grows, using o-rings on the chair legs, and goes on without tools.

Beyond the highchair

There is a proper own-design range alongside it: anti-roll wedge changing mats, basket changing mats, wipeable splash mats, long-sleeved bibs for the messier stage, and hospital bag organiser pouches, which are one of those things nobody thinks to buy and everybody is glad of.
