Named For Two Words, Neither Of Them Modest.

The letters come from Bold and Sexy, which tells you the brand is not planning to be coy about any of this. It was founded in 2024 by the actor Luke Evans with his partner Fran Tomas, an architect, and the stylist Christopher Brown, and the starting point was simply the holiday wardrobe: a good beach, a good T-shirt, and not very much else required.

The reference point throughout is the Classic Hollywood actor, which gives the range its particular quality of looking entirely unfussy and extremely considered at the same time. The first collection was named for the people who make a film happen rather than the ones in front of the camera, The Stunt, The Focus, The Gaffer, The Captain, The Boom, which is a rather lovely piece of thinking from somebody who has spent his working life on sets. The range runs from unisex tees and tanks through retro shorts and two cuts of swim short to towels, tote bags, caps and a candle called Salinas. Unseasonal staples rather than endless collections, which is the stated point.
