Leather That Gets Better With Age. We're Still Waiting.

Mirgoods is a small leather studio in Tallinn, run for more than ten years by a founder who also teaches at the Estonian Academy of Arts, which goes some way to explaining how beautifully everything is put together. It all starts with vegetable-tanned leather, the sort that takes on a patina and grows more handsome the longer you carry it. We've been hoping the same would happen to us. So far, nothing.

Stitched by Hand, Numbered One by One.

Cardholders, keyholders, belts, clutch bags, bum bags, sunglasses cases and leather trays, each saddle-stitched by hand, edges hot-creased and waxed, and each given its own serial number. It's the kind of care that makes you want to keep your keys somewhere sensible for once.

The studio also runs workshops at Telliskivi Loomelinnak (Telliskivi Creative City), where you can make your own cardholder, belt or clutch with expert guidance. No experience needed, which is a great comfort to us.
