Mother Nature Jewelry works out of Athens, and every design begins with something real: an olive leaf, a sprig of jasmine, a fern, a seashell. The original is cast, so the finished piece keeps every vein and ridge of the thing it came from, which is a good deal more than most of us manage to bring home from a walk.
Rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets are all handmade in-house, in sterling silver, gold-plated finishes, solid gold and brass. Olive leaves stand for peace and ginkgo for endurance, if you like a present to mean something, or you can simply choose the one you think is prettiest, which is also a perfectly respectable approach.
