Turtledove London has been making unisex childrenswear since 2016 on a premise that sounds obvious until you look at what most of the industry actually does: design the thing so it survives more than one child. Seasonless palettes, roll-up cuffs and hems, shapes that suit anyone. The Unglamorous Part

They name their factory accreditations, which is rarer than it ought to be. Production runs across Portugal, India, Sri Lanka and China, in factories that are ETI members or hold SA8000 or SEDEX certification, with their own teams in India and Sri Lanka visiting them. Every garment goes through independent testing at SGS. Dyes are azo free and no animal products are used. The trade has noticed: Drapers shortlisted them at its Sustainable Fashion Awards in 2021 and again as Best Sustainable Brand at its Independent Awards in 2023.
