Helena Yoga Mat: 6mm Cushioned, Non-Slip and Eco-Friendly

Meet the Helena Yoga Mat, a rather splendid studio-grade mat designed to keep you grounded through flows, balanced in standing poses, and utterly comfortable during floor work. Sized at a generous 24 inches by 72 inches with a supportive 6mm profile, Helena is built for all-levels practice, from your first sun salutations to long, blissed-out savasanas. Its subtly striped design brings a clean, modern look to your space while the performance surface delivers reliable traction and stability wherever you roll it out.

Why Choose Our Helena Yoga Mat

  • Steady, non-slip grip: The textured practice surface helps reduce sliding so you can move with confidence in transitions and balance holds, even as your palms warm up mid-flow.

  • Joint-friendly cushioning: At 6mm, Helena offers plush support for knees, hips, and wrists without feeling spongy. This ideal thickness is recommended by experts for comfort-focused flows and restorative sessions where your body deserves a bit of kindness.

  • Eco-conscious construction: Made from high-quality PER and free of latex and phthalates, Helena keeps toxins off your practice and out of your home. Printed with durable UV-cured inks for long-lasting colour that won't fade after weeks of devoted use.

  • Sized for real practice: The 72 inch length gives extra reach beyond the typical 68 inch mat so more yogis can stretch out fully, from high lunge to prone backbends, without awkwardly stepping off the surface.

Who Helena Is For

  • Beginners who want forgiving cushion and trustworthy traction from day one.

  • Home practitioners seeking a supportive, latex-free surface that protects both your floors and your joints.

  • All-levels yogis who move between dynamic flows, strength sequences, and restorative poses and want one rather good mat that handles it all beautifully.

Caring for Your Mat

Keep Helena fresh by wiping it down after class with mild soap and water, then let it air-dry completely before rolling. For deeper refreshes, gentle solutions like diluted dish soap work marvellously. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the performance surface and diminish that lovely grip you've come to rely on.

Commonly Asked Questions

Is the Helena Yoga Mat non-toxic?
Yes. Helena is made from PER and is free of phthalates and latex, so you can breathe easy during pranayama and sweat sessions alike.

Is 6mm too thick for balance work?
For most practitioners, 6mm strikes a splendid comfort and control sweet spot: ample cushion for your joints while maintaining stability. If you primarily train advanced balance on very firm ground, you may prefer something thinner, but most reviewers and instructors find 6mm a fabulous all-purpose choice.

What is the best way to clean it?
Wipe with mild soap and water, then air-dry completely. For deeper cleans, use a mat-safe cleaner and follow expert care guidance from leading yoga publications.

Ready to roll?
Elevate your everyday practice with a mat that blends non-slip performance, joint-loving cushion, and eco-conscious materials all in one rather fetching striped design. Add Helena to your practice today and flow with confidence, anywhere you move.

There is no warehouse. That is rather the point, and it does have consequences.

Every brand here packs and posts its own orders, in its own boxes, with tracked delivery. The brands you can see are the ones that ship to your country, so your parcel is usually making a fairly short journey: a potter in Bristol posting to Britain, a studio in California posting within America.

Which does mean that an order from three brands arrives as three parcels, posted by three different people, on three different days. Whether that is an inconvenience or a small extended birthday rather depends on your temperament. It also means three lots of postage, shown before you pay, because we would rather mention it here than at the till.

Roughly how long

UK Domestic: 2–5 business days

Coming from further afield: 7–14 days. Usually quicker, but let's not prmise and it will be a lovely surprise!

Estimates, not promises. Each brand sends its own tracking, so you will be kept extremely well

Need help? Just ask.Our small team is here.

Fourteen days from delivery to tell us you have changed your mind, and fourteen more to get it back to us. No reason required, and we will not make you give one.

You are allowed to open it and try it on. Handle it as you would in a shop, and we will not quibble. Handle it as you would a rental car and we may deduct something for the difference.

Return postage is yours to pay, because the brand at the other end is a workshop rather than a warehouse. Some cover it themselves, and if yours does you will not be charged. Whatever you paid us to send it out, we refund either way, and the money goes back the way it came within fourteen days of the parcel reaching the brand.

A few things cannot come back, and only these: anything made or personalised to your order, sealed beauty products once the seal is broken, and anything perishable.

If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, none of the above applies. It costs you nothing, and we sort it.

Just email mail@brixbailey.com — we'll guide you through it.
